Our Programs & Classes
Students and enthusiasts of martial arts have many reasons for their interest in the martial arts. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Lil Dragons
A 35 minute class designed for 3-7 year olds that do not have the maturity to attend our youth program. It places more emphasis on building self esteem and confidence skills than technical martial arts moves. This class allows children to socialize and learn skills necessary for transition into school.

Youth Beginer/Intermediate
Classes begin with warm-up exercises that prepare the body for vigorous demands placed on it while practicing martial arts. A variety of drills and contests are used to improve skills and coordination. Classes are designed to emphasize goal setting, achievement, and reward. Students are encouraged to attend class at least two days a week.

Tae Kwon Do

Combat Hapkido
Core self-defense curriculum for black belts and adults. Combat Hapkido is an extremely realistic and versatile discipline of self-protection that includes an extensive variety joint locks, pressure points, grappling, and disarming techniques. Combat Hapkido's dynamic concepts are baed on scientific principles of anatomy and bio-kinetics as well as psychology and strategy.

Masters Club
This is the main style that is taught in our youth program. Na Cha Shin Ui means "My Own" in Korean, and is a blend of styles that Founder Master James Sherman has studied for over 15 years. Main areas of study are: Techniques, Self Defense, Forms, One-Steps, and Sparring.

SMAART
Sherman's Martial Arts Aggression Response Training is a Self Defense program designed for women. This course teaches not only self defense but also concentrates on adrenaline stress conditioning.
